American Roadracer is a calendar publishing company I started in 2005 with the goal of publishing the best U.S. focused motorcycle racing calendar available. I succeeded. The website was our main tool for calendar sales since I didn't have very good retail distribution. The website was automated to take calendar and clothing orders, then generate fullfilment shipping labels everyday with one click ease on the back-end. This site was supported with Google Adword buys, banner ad buys, magazine coverage (paid media and PR), and being an active topic in user forums. I sold a couple thousand calendars a year, but couldn't keep it up with my day job and my personal life.
